Smaller number of sheep on offer to previous week. Hoggets were a similar trade to previous week, with a firm trade for fleshy lots. Exceptionally strong trade for stag ewes with heavier ewes in strong demand with a ewe topping the sale at €216. Also a brisk trade for ewes with lambs at foot with farmers preferring lambs on the ground to in-lamb ewes.

Exceptionally strong trade for all lots on offer with a large number of buyers for the heavier ewes. Prices ranged from €120.00 to €216.00.
