Smaller number of sheep on offer to previous week. Increased demand for spring lambs and also a very brisk trade for all lots of hoggets on offer. Stag ewes met with an easier trade on previous week. Also a brisk trade for ewes with lambs at foot, with a large number of buyers in attendance.

Good turn out of sheep, not as good as previous week. Good demand for fleshed ewes.

Breeding sheep -Ewes with lambs at foot.
Very good trade for all lots. Prices ranged from €240 to €298 for young ewes with twins. Ewes with single lambs made from €180 to €200.
